(Lexington, KY) - The Association of Medical Illustrators (AMI) has moved its headquarters office to Lexington, KY as of January 1, 2010. AMR Management Services will serve as AMI’s new management company.
AMI is an international organization committed to advancing the understanding of science through the creative use of visual media. The AMI promotes the competency and professionalism of its members by supporting accredited graduate training programs, professional certification, and continuing education, as well as a peer-reviewed journal, an interactive website, and annual and regional meetings. "After an extensive nationwide search”, explains AMI Board Chair, Jill Gregory, MFA, “we chose AMR Management Services because of their solid array of financial, administrative, technology, and event-planning support services, along with their outstanding track record with similar organizations.” AMI’s management team will now be headed by Executive Director, Tracy Tucker, BS.
