They have united to establish a collecting society by making a proper claim on illustrators' reprographic royalties, and creating a collecting and distributing mechanism to return this income to the rightsholders who've earned it. AMI is one of the 6 founders of ASIP. |

 | BCMI The Board of Certification of Medical Illustrators administers a program for the certification of medical illustrators. It provides a recognizable means of signifying a practitioner's current competency in the profession of medical illustration. The certification program and examination process is based on Standards established by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). The NCCA, along with its parent body, the National Organization for Competency Assurance (NOCA), are recognized leaders in setting quality standards for credentialing organizations to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of the public. |
