This year's meeting will be held at Montana State University.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

Attendees have two housing options at the 2007 meeting: low-cost dorm rooms or reduced-rate rooms at one of two off-campus hotels in the Bozeman area. Be sure to make your reservations soon, as rooms are going fast.

MSU Dorm Reservations

Register for dorm rooms at the MSU room reservation site, www.montana.edu/cs/accommodations.php. Note: reservations can only be made through this site. General meeting registration is available through another site, mtds.emeetingsonline.com/emeetings/websitev2.asp?mmnno=119&pagename=SITE29927.

Most of the meeting will be held in the Strand Student Union bldg.(#53 on the map). The map page also has a photo gallery and virtual tour that includes the dorms.

Note: For AMI members interested in staying an extra night or two, rooms will be available in North Hedges Hall beginning Sunday, July 22. You do not need a reservation, but can stay as a "Walk on."

Dorm rates and General Info:

  • Single: $25 + 7% bed tax
  • Double: $20 + 7% bed tax
  • Check-in: 1:00pm
  • Check-out: 11:00am
  • Earliest arrival date: Monday, July 16th (1pm)
  • Latest departure date: Sunday, July 22 (11am)
  • Rooms include linens (two sheets, mattress pad, pillow, pillow case and blanket), towels, washcloth and bath soap.

    Services available in the halls include:

  • Complimentary linen exchange
  • All linens are provided, mattress pad, two sheets, blanket, pillow, pillowcase, towel, washcloth, soap

  • Hangers are not provided, so be sure to pack your own
  • There is no air conditioning in the rooms. Fans available upon request at no charge
  • Refrigerator rental

  • Computer labs

  • Mail service
  • Wake up call service
  • In case you forget something and need a convenience store nearby for necessities, there is a market about a 3 minute walk from the dorm.
  • The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day. The building is locked down at 11pm-6am but there is a doorbell guests can ring and the desk clerk will let them in.

    Off-campus Hotel Accomodations:

    A block of rooms have been reserved at a reduced rate for the AMI at the Wingate Inn and the Hilton Garden Inn, located at Exit 305/19th Avenue in Bozeman. Rates are currently $109- $125, excluding local and occupancy taxes.

    Note: These rooms must be booked directly through the meeting registration site to receive the negotiated AMI reduced room rate. You will not receive the negotiated rate by calling the hotel directly.

    Getting to MSU - Bozeman

    Our two hotels (the Hilton Garden Inn and the Wingate) where we have room blocks are at Exit 305/19th Ave.
