Hotel reservations for meeting attendees will be made based on the information provided in your meeting registration. Payment for hotel room reservations will be made on site directly with the hotel. Meeting attendees will be asked to provide a credit card upon check in at the hotel.


To Register and Book Your Hotel Room for the AMI 2012 Annual Conference:

  1. Visit the AMI Online Store.
  2. Choose "2012 Annual Conference" (listed first on the list) by clicking the "Select" button next to the shopping cart symbol. Do not select any of the workshops at this point, you will have the opportunity to register for workshops at a later point during the registration process.
  3. Login with your username and password (if you aren't already logged into the site). If you are not a current member, use the New Visitor Registration to register.
  4. During the registration process, you will be able to select workshops and purchase extra tickets for the awards banquet and Salon. These items are listed in day order within the form. Keep in mind the item you are looking for may be on page 2 of the list.
  5. Payment can be made online or you can select the "Bill Me" option and mail in a check. Checks must be postmarked by the Advance Registration Cutoff Date of 8 June, 2012 to qualify for posted Advance Registration Fees. Checks should be mailed to AMI Headquarters, P.O. Box 2271, Lexington, KY 40588-2271.
  6. If you have any questions about registration or need to make changes/cancel, please do not hesitate to contact AMI's Registration Coordinator, Diane Dougherty, at ddougherty@amrms.com or 859-514-9194.
To Register for Workshops ONLY:

Cancellation Policy:

To receive a full refund, a notice of cancellation (conference, workshop, or additional meal ticket) must be made to AMI HQ in writing by June 25, 2012. In the event that special circumstances such as a serious illness, accident, or death of a family member arise and the circumstances cannot be reported until after June 25, 2012, documentation to support the special circumstance (e.g. a physician's statement, obituary, etc.) will be required in order to process a refund. A $75 processing fee will apply to all refunds. No refund will be considered for special circumstances reported after August 12, 2012.


To Make Changes to Existing Hotel Reservations / Add Roommate's Name:

  1. If you have already registered for the meeting and need to make a change to your hotel reservation or add your roommate's name, please complete the form online.
  2. If you have not registered yet, please register for the meeting following the instructions above. During the registration process you will have an opportunity to reserve your room and add your roommate's name.
